GENERAL TERMS FOR A CHANCE AT THE THOUSAND LOTTERY
1. Definitions
”General Terms and Conditions” refers to these terms and conditions for the Lottery.
”The Lottery” means the Lottery; One chance in a thousand.
”Lot number” refers to the specific lot number that is for each purchase.
”The organization” MHF, org. no. 802002-3399.
”Subscriber” refers to a natural person who has registered as a subscriber to the Lottery.

2. Background and purpose
2.1 MHF, hereinafter the ”Organization” has received permission from the Swedish Gaming Authority to run the lottery En chans pao tusen, hereinafter (”the Lottery”). These General Terms and Conditions apply to participation in the Lottery and constitute an agreement between ticket buyers, alt. subscriber and the Organization.
2.2 These General Terms and Conditions are available on the Lottery’s website www.mhf.se. In connection with your registration as a buyer or Subscriber in the Lottery, you accept these General Terms and Conditions.

3. Participation in the lottery and payment
3.1 In order to participate in the Lottery, the ticket buyer must alt. the subscriber has turned 18 and does not have a trustee or other guardian and is registered in Sweden. Participation in the Lottery takes place via direct purchase or subscription and payment is via swish, bank transfer, direct debit or other automatic payment method where the price of the lottery is also stated.
3.2 Registration for the Lottery is done at www.enchanspatusen.se.
3.3 After registration for the Lottery, Lottery numbers will be created and mailed to each participant at least 10 days before the draw. Once payment has been made, the buyer or subscriber is entitled to participate in the next Lottery draws with the Lottery number that the buyer or subscriber is assigned. However, if there is a special reason, the Organization has the right to refuse to allow a person to participate in the Lottery.
3.4 Payment of lottery tickets takes place in advance via automatic payment by swish, bank transfer or direct debit. The lottery prize is deducted from the Subscriber’s registered bank account, usually at the end of each calendar month. If the balance on the notified bank account or the equivalent is not sufficient for payment of the prize, the Organization will make another (1) to two (2) withdrawal attempts until the balance is sufficient for payment. Reminders are also posted. Lottery buyers participate in the lottery with the amount that is paid in when the lot number is assigned.
3.5 If payment of the lottery prize is not complete in accordance with what is stated in point 3.4 above, the amount found for the lottery will be entered into a nearby prize draw. If the lottery prize has not been able to be withdrawn from the Subscriber’s account during three (3) subsequent months, the subscription may be terminated and the Subscriber may not participate in the Lottery.
3.6 The organization does not compensate lost stakes or lost winnings as a result of the Subscriber’s subscription to the Lottery being terminated due to what is stated in these General Terms and Conditions, cf. point 3.3 and 3.4.

4. More about the lottery
4.1 The lottery includes regular quarterly draws during a twelve-month period. Every quarter a draw takes place, which occurs at the end of January, the end of April, during August and at the end of October – and there are 1000 lottery numbers (one thousand) in total in the lottery. Lottery numbers are assigned at each draw and may vary from draw to draw for the ticket purchasers. It is not possible to choose or book a ”personal” lottery number that will apply to each draw.
4.2 The draws are divided as below.
• Ordinary draw – for the current quarter. 4 times per 12 months.
4.3 If a Lottery Buyer or Subscriber buys more than 10 lottery tickets per draw, the Organization will make extra personal contact with the Subscriber. This contact is made to ensure that there is no gambling problem behind the order. The majority of ticket purchases are made via personal phone calls to ensure orderly play and ticket purchases.

4.5 The person who is recorded as the holder of the winning Lottery number in the Organisation’s register is entitled to the prize.

5. Profits
5.1 Winnings are presented on the Lottery’s website www.enchanspatusen.se and via social media or letters. Profits consist of cash, product. It is the practice of the organization to pay out winnings to the winner’s bank account. To avoid misunderstandings, the Lottery has for many years exclusively paid out winnings as amounts to the winner’s track account. From time to time, vehicles such as a car or motorcycle are the winnings themselves. see www.enchanspatusen.se. After each draw, the ticket buyer will alt. Subscribers to the Lottery receive information about the winning lottery number by post and is also published on www.enchanspatusen.se, where the winning lottery number is presented.

5.2 In the extremely rare cases where winnings are paid via avi, this must be redeemed within the time specified on the avi. After that, it is the responsibility of the respective winner to contact the Organization themselves to inform them how the prize is to be paid out. Unclaimed winnings are kept available to the ticket buyer up to and including the day of the last winning payment. Winnings must always be redeemed within six (6) months after the respective draw list is published. Unredeemed profits then accrue to the Organisation.
5.3 In the event that winnings consist of products, such as a car or motorcycle, it is the supplier of these winnings who is responsible for the correctness and error-freeness of the winnings. The supplier must therefore be regarded as a seller in this respect and any complaints and reclamations must be directed against him. The organization cannot therefore be held responsible for deficiencies and possible errors in the winnings.
5.4 In the event of a win, the size of the win is determined by the amount paid in by the ticket buyer. At the draw, two controllers will be present to ensure that the draw is carried out correctly. If an error is noticed during the check, the draw will be rejected and redone. The winner can claim the prize at the earliest after the draw has been finally confirmed by the Lottery’s controllers. As payment takes place via a bank, the necessary payment routines take place via them and transfer normally takes place within 10 working days – and then includes reporting of the bank’s requirements.

6. Termination of subscription
6.1 The subscriber has the right to notify the Organization at any time that he wishes to cancel his subscription. Termination can be done in writing, the organization recommends that termination be done via contact with MHF and at www.enchanspatusen.se. There is no refund of already paid Lottery amount.
6.2 If the Subscriber has not paid his lottery prize for a period longer than one year (12 months), contact will be made by telephone. Participation is voluntary and in support of MHF operations – so subscribers can participate periodically.

7. Processing of personal data
7.1 The organization, in its capacity as data controller, is responsible for the processing of the personal data that the ticket buyer alt. When participating in the Lottery, the subscriber provides, for example, social security number, name, address and e-mail address. The organization follows the requirements and guidelines set out in the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other applicable legislation in the field.
7.2 Lot buyer alt. The subscriber’s personal data is used for the Organization to be able to fulfill its contractual obligations towards the ticket buyers and for the Organization to be able to fulfill legal obligations according to the Gambling Act (2018:1138) and other applicable legislation. Furthermore, the Organization will use ticket buyers alt. The subscriber’s contact details to administer the sending of newsletters and other information about the Lottery.
7.3 Lot buyer alt. The subscriber is considered by the Organization as a lottery buyer, which means that personal data will be registered and processed in the Organization’s main register for the lottery.

7.5 The organization uses so-called cookies on its website. Cookies are used for certain functions that improve the Organization’s web pages for the user and provide the Organization with statistics about the use of the site. 8. Lottery license and the Swedish Gaming Authority

The lottery is controlled by an independent controller who has no connections to the Organization or the operation of the lottery.

9. Exemption from liability and force majeure
9.1 The organization’s liability for damages is limited to direct damages, up to the amount corresponding to the Lottköparen alt. The subscriber’s stake in the draw to which the error applies. This limitation of damages applies unless the Organization has acted intentionally or grossly negligently.
9.2 The Organization is exempt from penalty for failure to fulfill its obligations under these General Terms and Conditions if the failure is based on circumstances, which are beyond the Organization’s control and which should not reasonably have been foreseen and which prevent the fulfillment of the obligation in question, such as, for example, war, pandemic, authority measures, changed legislation, strike and illness of a key person.

10. Miscellaneous
10.1 The organization has the right to hire subcontractors to fulfill its obligations towards Lottery Buyers alt. Subscriber regarding the Lottery.
10.2 The organization reserves the right to continuously change these General Terms and Conditions. By continuing his subscription and/or by using the Organization’s services after the announced changes have come into effect, the Lottköparen agrees alt. The subscriber also to the announced changes to terms and conditions. If the Subscriber does not agree to the changes to the terms and conditions, he has the right to cancel his account and subscription by contacting the Organization’s customer service or notify this via the contact form, whereupon this agreement ends.

11. Complaints
Complaints or claims due to incorrect or non-existent profit distribution or other similar situation must, in order to be asserted, reach the Organization within six (6) months from the completion of the draw to which the complaint or claim relates. If a complaint or claim is made later than six (6) months, the claim is considered due.

12. Dispute
12.1 Disputes shall primarily be resolved through discussion and agreement outside of court. If the dispute cannot be resolved through an agreement, the dispute must be settled by a Swedish court according to Swedish law. Disputes can also be tried by the General Complaints Board (”ARN”), www.arn.se, Box 174, 101 23 Stockholm. ARN’s decision is a recommendation to the parties on how the dispute should be resolved.
